^ You do have a donut gasket between the 02 and the downpipe right? It looks like quite a large leak.

With the info given I would agree on the likelyhood of a dp/o2 housing leak; I'll mention though that my VI RS-2 exhaust manifold gasket did start to leak at < 10k miles - so it's not "impossible" (fixed under warranty).

fixed

PROBLEM FIXED!!!!!!!!! switched back to stock dp. machron1 is right, between the dp and o2..........but big power lost...cuz i found out the dp is 3.25"....it pulls really REALLY strong with it.... so now i'll get something else. afterall no smell in the car no blackening...problem fixed...can't complain. if any of you have blackening and smells, this is the solution.
