Sorry man, I don't mean to be a dick, but come on now. You told me to get a boost gauge (which I obviously had if you read the post) and a tune (which I also have but may not be as obvious since it is included in the Buschur Stage 1). That's not much help.

And I can't go higher than 30psi. 35 is hard to believe.

Evo jason, no not with regular octane boosters. Maybe with toulene or other very dangerous chemicals, but if you are running around with octane boosters thinking it makes your 91oct more like race gas, then you will melt a piston. Yes, the ECU pulls timing when it detects knock, but it is not a miracle worker. If you run crazy boost at WOT too long, you will blow your engine. Ask SharkBite, the guy who now has a stroker on his IX...

I'll admit I'm a little on the woosy side right now .... Honestly don't remember seeing the bit about a boost guage... and no I wouldn't know that buschur stage 1 comes with a tune ( not too fond of his products... no offense david), but I was right on about turning the boost down. I won't hijack the thread anymore. Muh bad!

Good info, thanks. I just realized I didn't adjust my MBC all weekend and that's where it showed 30 PSI on the one gauge today. I was romping around all weekend, my Evo would be toast by now if the 30 PSI was real.
