The purple clutch looks great hanging on the wall, but not as good as the $2,300 looked in my bank account.
Trust me you are not the first person with the issue. Their are several other members on this board that have experienced the same thing with the Exedy Carbon clutch. A personal friend of mine had one go within 1200 miles with proper break-in.

i had issues with my ceramitallic twin exedy last year it would slip after a few passes.. the remedy that worked for me was the stainless clutch line i have made about 10 passes this year with more power (about 460whp) and not one slip yet so that is what worked for me give it a try.. i'm thinking it just slipped the clutch too much on launches so it would get too hot, i still slip the **** out of it still but i just think it's less than the stock line & pill.

x2 - 35k, over 100+ launches, no autocrosses yet! except for the decel noise all is good. still launching softly and getting 1.7-60's... going to try and get more aggressive and pull a 1.5-1.6 next time.

They're really hard to get, we order them for customers that have purchased the clutch from us.

I just ordered replacement cerametallic disks today for my twin, not hard to get at all. Not sure about the carbon disks, but your posts don't mention carbon... Call Matt Gold at *** Imports - 321-255-4898 - he can get you whatever you need.

MattGold is the man!! He used to work at Daiken clutch/Exedy, he is the answer man with Exedy clutches.

P.S. I had a triple carbon clutch go out also, but it was improper install as the issue! Good luck bro, Matt will help you!

If you really feel like it is a defective clutch you can rip it out, talk to the place you bought it from(if they bought it through a legit exedy US dealer) and you can get it sent in to have one of thier engineers look at it. We have done a couple for customers and every single time it is install error, break in error, or some other error caused by the customer. I have never seen a exedy clutch fail due to craftsmanship.

If you want some replacement discs I think I have some laying around here.
