i want quite ride in most of the time and power ........
so i m thinking i weld this one onto the 3''test pipe with 3''downpipe and rest will be stock cat-back...and get a tune with cutout open.........but if i leave cutout closed and hit the boost,,,,do i change the afr? and tune?

 

Yeah a couple people have done it. It is a good idea, and works fine. Not to mention it's cheap. Exhaust doesn't cause a big enough impact to require a tune, just get it tuned for when it's open, so you don't accidently bump your AFR's over the safety line.

I thought about doing that, but i hate the look of the stock catback, so i said F it.

 

hmm......i will do this when i got evo9........i dont wanna do tpo many crazy things this time...
i ll just do this electric cutout and intake and tune will be all! this way the car will last damn long time........and holds the good value of my car if i keep it as close as stock.,,,,,

yea you can try it out.. bu i agree with the whole look of the stock exhaust...

 

the stock exhaust will fool the people......they think it is stock when its not....
thats the point i like it about and u get quite ride w/cutout closed ...i kinda sick of hearing too much sound off from my 3''exhaust when im crusing down on the highway.,....

 

And once you open that cutout you can scare the bejeezus out of the unsuspecting. You'll be like puuuuurrrrr, RUMBBBBLLEEEE, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!
