I would say its placement on the manifold. Is it just off runner #1? I've seen manifolds like the turbonetics one and some 2g manifolds w/ wg's off the #1, creep under low boost (with 35Rs and similar). Does this creep when you run low boost? This is exactly what I've seen if you're trying to run under low 20s for boost. If it really bugs you and you want to run lower boost w/o creep then I'd suggest putting the wastegate off the o2 housing. Good luck.

Theres your answer. Those gates are complete sh*t and dont hold boost on anything for long. They flow like crap as well. Tell him to get a real tial gate and I bet the proble will be fixed

Yeah we debated that but the valve itself is pretty large. Confirmed 40mm. He is going to get a Tial most likely.

Try swapping put the wastegate spring with a lower rated one, then up the boost with the controller. Is it a Mitsu bolt-on or a t3 turbine housing? You might need a larger rear a/r.

Well I just thought Id update everyone. We found the culprit. We figured it was the SS-AC wastegate since they are known for their junk, however we got a new 2g ported manifold with Tial 38 on it. Took car for a drive, SAME EXACT creep. Hit 21-22... creeped to 25 after 6500rpm.

So as last resort, I took the MBC off and ran it straight off the WG (has a 16psi spring) ... took car for drive and it held 16psi all the way to redline. Wallah.

BAD BOOST CONTROLLER. Never heard of that one, nor do I even know how that could go bad but it was the problem. This would explain why the car was creeping before the External and after the External was installed. Glad that problem is gone!

Thanks for all the help.

Weird, Im not sure how a b

Port your 02 housing, and change manifolds. Makes a world of difference.

Could be the manifold design/how the WG is mounted. The WG needs to be properly sized and located.

Happy fro u bro ,
So the problem was from the MBC Hallman ? It was Brand new ? What Spring it had ???
I have the same Issue right now , with the Tial W/G with ATP GT35R , If i close completely the MBC , It goes till 22 PSI :s wich's Abnormal it Might give 12PSI , ... , I checked to Vacuum Line .. They are Ok ... The 1st for the W/G and the 2nd till the Lower I/C Pipe .... I said Maybe its the Gasket of the W/G ... But Now i have to TRY another MBC ... Before opening my W/G ...

Any suggestions Guys ????
Thanks a lot ...
