We shall see, I am optimistic. The good part is that we're not locked into anything yet and would never be stuck with poor performance based on design because fabrication can make changes at any time. It will be thoroughly tested on my Evo before we finalize the kit and its components and release this product to market

^I agree with that guy, its gunna be laggy. What, if anything, has made you feel like the t3 housing is a restriction? 650 whp not enough for a t3 flanged gt35R, you guys want 700 ish?

My Evo was fired this morning and is now running and driving with the kit on. Getting closer!

Here's a shot of the manifold and turbo before they were bolted up

That will be determined by the tune. Obviously the off boost and normal driving will be tolerable but it will need a complete retune for WOT. Because the AEM is still set up as if the car were on the stock turbo at 20psi we have some changes to make. It idles and drives just fine, not that we were too concerned about that part

nice kit!!

i used a 60-1 turbonetics with a .58 T4 hotside, was about 1000 rpm laggier than the gt35R .63 we have on now

then again the Turbonetics was non ballbearing. also tried a 62-1 ball bearing with .58, and it never spooled basically lol

i like ur mani, and everything, well done!!

Traffic was horrible last night so we didn't get a chance to pick up the car but it is being delivered sometime today. We will have all kinds of pictures, impressions and more information on the kit soon!

I'm leaving my car with Torquefreaks July 14-21. It was gonna be an alky tune, but if the 35R carrot is in my face I may bite. Are you still partners with those guys and do you think the kit will be tested and marketable by then? I'd rather trade topend for less lag, so this may not be the kit for me. But I'd love to have it as an option. Looking good!

We should have a few kits in stock by then but let us know when you schedule your appt. and we'll let you know for sure. We work with TorqueFreaks on a daily basis so it will be no problem to coordinate that.

Now for some news on the kit! I drove the car last night and it is incredible. Boost comes on hard and fast and being that I'm still on the 20psi tune for the stock turbo I had to be really careful with my right foot to keep boost from flying up. The car feels like it's about ready to leap out of its skin and I never saw north of 12-13psi Driveability on the street and highway is uncompromised and it feels great at any RPM. I can only imagine how insane this setup will be tuned at high boost on methanol! As I said above we're looking at having these kits in stock and ready to ship in 2-3 weeks and we'll run a special as soon as they are available which I'll link to from this thread. Now on to the new pics!

And since they are a bit tough to see in the pictures, the Tial 44mm wastegate and HorsepowerFreaks spec 35R with "S" compressor cover and T4 exhaust side used in the kit! While you may not think you ever want to reach 800whp+, the fact that our kit uses a T4 flange instead of the smaller T3 means all you'd need to do is swap out the turbo
