I should have a $ number soon. We've got a few local customers including myself who will be running the kit to make sure there are no little issues with anything before we open the flood gates and run our big special. We'll definitely be keeping you posted!

I was lucky enough to go for a quick spin today with Tom in his Evo running this kit @ 22 psi, and all I have to say is HOLY SHXX!!!... That thing tears though the gears! The car seems very daily drivable in my opinion, and the lag factor was nowhere near where I thought it'd be. I may be looking into getting one on my car soon as well, as Tom and I have somewhat similar setups (minus the turbo kit for me right now of course).

Thanks for taking the time to let me see what the kit is capable of, Tom, it's much appreciated And I'm certainly interested in a kit now.

HPF, do you have a boost guage in the car, or is it so fast you cannot look at the tach when you reach max boost?

My friend owns one so i think i know what i am talking about
It runs from zero to 124mph in 12seconds. A good tuned evo with a gt35r makes more than that in the 10's (1/4 mile). From the low down the porsche surely is faster, but when the evo comes on boost you better move out of the way.

My pleasure! We're very pleased with the kit and are looking forward to some hard results from the dyno. Need to tie up the details, get the turbos in here, (still 1-2 weeks out from Precision) get a clutch in my Evo that is still on the stocker throw in some C16 and get it on the rollers. I'll be sure to report back

^A well tuned race gas evo runs that.....

Using the DSM time calculator which isn't a horrible measuring tool I got the numbers below( 3300lbs with driver, 10.5 for ET method and 124 mph for the Trap method) show me 491 or 563 whp on pump gas only, 22 psi on a GT35R, show me low 11's on pump on a GT35R and I will be impressed.

Simple Horsepower Calculations
Using the ET method, I come up with 563 horsepower
Using the Speed method, I come up with 491 horsepower

There IS NO WAY A GT35R'd evo on pump gas beat a new 911 turbo unless helen keller was driving or it had diesel in it.... not a rant against HPF, just StreetTurbo.

P.S.- don't drift your skyline into a kerb

@ Scorke, Lol about the DSM time calculator. A gt35r with alky on 93-94 octane and 30 psi will pass the new 911 turbo, no problems. First get a ride in the new 911 turbo then talk. I can tell you it's very responsive but lacks the top end. 10,5 sec to 124mph for evo around 12,2 and for the porsche, who is faster?

Actually I was talking about the other alternative to gasoline, ya know, the motors that don't have spark plugs.....

StreetTurbo, again this whollllllllle argument was based around a GT35R on pumpgas, it is apparant now that you have either forgotten or continue to realize this. Pump gas and Meth/Alk is not "pump gas".Porsche states the 997 Turbo will run a 11.9 stock, I do not know what they said for traps but thats quick...
