Narbie (Late Apex),
The car has:

Stock 2.0L w/ ARP head studs
HorsepowerFreaks GT35R Turbo Kit (includes intake, downpipe, and lower intercooler piping)
HorsepowerFreaks 3.5" Goliath Exhaust System
HorsepowerFreaks Behemoth Intercooler
HorsepowerFreaks upper intercooler piping
HorsepowerFreaks mini battery kit
GSC 272 cams
Unorthodox Racing cam gears
Precision 880s
Walbro 255
AEM EMS - speed density
Innovate wideband
AEM serial gauge
And now some iridiums

It's still on the stock clutch but we've got our new HorsepowerFreaks Feramic 6-puck clutch kit and Unorthodox Racing flywheel ready to go in as soon as it gives.

What I'm most impressed with is how short and simple the mod list really is. You can get everything on my Evo in stages in the horsepower kits on our site as all of the parts we design and run are available to the public.

Just a quick update (535whp).

We had to stop turning up the boost and advancing timing at 535whp when we ran out of fuel. The injectors were at 109% duty cycle. The EVO has a bunch more in it, so we're going to build a fuel system (w/2 walbros, rail, and FPR) for it and strap it back down.

I'll let Tom post up the details.

Take care,
Chris.

Excellent news Chris! Keep it up! The hard work you guys have been doing on this kit is paying off. I have seen this kit up close and it hasa trick look with a bit "larger" than your average GT53r in it..and I'll leave it at that What do you expect it to hit once the fuel system is in place? 600HP?

The spark plugs are NGK BPR9EIX but are also available in a BPR8EIX if you'd prefer to stay one step colder than stock. I will get them listed on our site on Monday and we'll be keeping those as well as the Denso IW Iridiums on hand. Instant difference on my Evo; spark blowout was completely eliminated

We're definitely going to give the stock motor a run for its money! We have a few of the complete AEM EMS packages for speed density conversion in stock whenever you're ready to upgrade Paul. Your Evo is already doing amazingly well so I can only imagine how it will perform on the AEM

The 535whp number is nice but it also made a very healthy 421wtq in a fat curve which was definitely evident in the street pulls we did. There is lots more room in this setup as it sits on the stock motor, we just need more fuel! That will be resolved as Chris mentioned and we'll report back with the results. I've still got just over a half tank of C16 left for some good video footage this weekend. I'd hate to keep all this fun to myself

+1... And congrats!! That HP number is insane, and the torque is nothing to be ashamed of either! I'm curious to see how much longer the stock clutch can survive lol.

Just to clarify, those higher #s were on race fuel, but you haven't got your meth/alky kit in there yet, is that right?

Thanks for the updates!!

Well, i have a bud that works at the local dealer. I had the opportunity to take one for a spin. Very fast and I don't think there is much that could touch it off the line. I could believe that an EVO pushing serious boost could start rheeling it in.

So I gave a street launch a shot over the weekend and the clutch didn't hold even for a split second. I was on the rev limiter almost instantly. We'll get our 6-puck feramic clutch kit and Aasco flywheel in and get to the track for a few passes as soon as it's broken in.

In the meantime we'll have these turbo kits in stock for same day shipping very soon and of course will let you know as any new information is available. Our introductory special pricing will apply for the first five turbo kits sold and I'll post a new thread with a link as soon as that is official. We are taking pre-orders now and doing so will lock you in at the $4490 introductory price. We'll also be building our fuel system that will accomodate the needs of this kit at 30+ psi and will have that available shortly as well. I'll have the car with me at the shop all week so anyone local is welcome and encouraged to come take a ride!
