As far as performance goes probably not much difference. My first set of cams were the GSC 272's. But I had them only long enough to do a visual inspection. They just didn't seem to be a well manufactured cam IMO. The lobes still had an excess amount of material that could have been cleaned off, also on couple of the lobes I noticed alittle to much metal removed... there were a few small groves notched in the side of the lobes. They probably would have been fine, but seeing all that changed my mind to the HKS 272's.
