Which cams
Which cams
I am kinda new to the whole cam adventure and couldn't find anything in a search. What are the advantages or disadvantages, or why would you use hks 264 versus 272 versus 280 cams. I am pretty sure that I am going to go with hks that is why I am asking about their cams specifically. thanks for the help

generally, the more duration the cams have the power curve will be pushed futher towards the redline. Allowing more air into the combustion chamber at higher rpms. More lift allows more air in during lower rpms. This is a very basic explaination on cam dynamics.
