Yup they are impossible to find. They don't even sell new ones from the dealer. I bought one for a customer and #1, they requuire your core. #2 it stated "remanufactured" on the "new" starter.

They don't require it; it is optional. At least that is what mitsubishi parts.net told me. I ordered one from them for $156 shipped.

Let me rephrase that. They require your core to get the lower price.

no i never asked them i just stoped in and asked if they found they problem and they said it was a bad starter. but ya thanks for all the ideas guys, time to buy my bov and then tune

Ya i am glad i didnt take it back eather cause man when this thing runs it f'in pulls tough man
