AMS LICP vs EBAY LICP

AMS LICP vs EBAY LICP
I'm always seeing threads asking about the EBAY LICP but there is very little info about it. Most people will tell you to avoid EBAY products like the plague. I decided to buy one and compare it to my AMS LICP.
Basically the pipes are nearly identical. The only difference is weight. The AMS pipe is made of aluminum and the ebay pipe is steel. I have tried both and they perform the exact same. The only minor differences is the ebay pipe has a tad smaller mid coupler. That being said the ebay pipe also comes with T-bolt clamps.
I would say the ebay LICP is as good as any if not better than most LICPs.
Here are a few pics:

I have the LPI licp and it's a one piece - different from both of those...and fits like poop.

I am saying that AMS makes LPI's LICP, but LPI puts their name on it....
I bought my LPI LICP used, mint cond from a local for like $100 with couplings and T-bolts included....
as for fitment it fit fine on my car with the stock FMIC...once I added my Buschur Race FMIC I had to cut the pipe about 3" shorter

Mine fit OK with the stocker...pushed down too much on the undertray for my liking, and with my TXS FMIC, I had to cut about 1/2 inch off.
Sorry for the OT...that's good work Jeff, saving the Evo community money is always a in my book

well with the pushing down on the undertray thing, well it happend to me too but the undertray is flexible enough to compensate for the way the pipe is...

Well, I'm glad some people appreaciate this information.
On a side note, both units (being identical) fit perfectly on my eight.
I still think the price of IC pipes in general are silly expensive.
Vendors would sell alot more product if they didn't try to rape customers.....and its not the price of R&D because these pipes are nearly identical to stock less the diameter change.
