Question Engine Bog/Sputtering

Ok so i was on the way to school today and was going about 60 then i step on the gas to chage lanes and get it up to 75 and i hear this loud bang/backfie and then the car boogged down. i get over and turn it off and look for anysmoke or any sign of anything broken. i then start it up and drive it down to the dealership on the way there i noticed it wouldnt go over 30 mph maybe due to the ses light on. so i get it to the dealership and they pull it off and i notice alot of black smoke coming out of the exhaust.. in the past i have only got a p0300 code and that has been off for the past week and a half....

Something happened to put you in "LIMP HOME MODE" that is what happened. it is to protect your car from larger failure. it will run to get you home, or to the shop, but that is IT! Probably something easy to fix! Don't sweat it.

When I blew a hose off, I couldnt go ANYWHERE, just pull off the side of the road, and try to start it again, to no avail, and had to reconnect the hose, or FORGET IT!! You can't drive a car any distance with the hose off. he is in LIMP HOME MODE!!

Too easy - intercooler pipe. If it's not obvious, look at the LICP under the car connected to the turbo or FMIC.

Doesn't really matter - it's for sure your IC piping.
