Does anyone stateside build custom stock turbos like essex in the UK? I asked them for some quotes, but the prices are astronomical.

Thanks for the e-mail. You will be using a standard turbo to keep the external look the only disadvantage that without a manifold change you will be limited on bhp gains as the original version needs replacing due to it being restrictive.

We offer a few options on the standard turbo as follows:

1) Based on your turbo coming to the UK for the work stated:

i) Ball bearing conversion £500.00
ii)larger compressor wheel £250.00
iii)10.5 turbine housing £215.00
iv) fit titanium shaft £500.00
v) Standard re-build £375.00

You can use any combination of the above but you have to include either the ball bearing conversion or a standard re-build.

Alternatively you can purchase our latest turbo's:

1) Standard titanium, large comp. wheel 10.5 version £1075.00
2) As above but also ball bearing £1495.00
