exedy twin disc

Of course I searched it and read peoples thoughts on it. However, no one ever says how the clutch feels meaning the pedal? Is it like the act where its pretty stiff? I have ran act's before and the pedal is oh so stiff. Is it this way with the exedy twin disc?

Also any input form you twin disc guys on here is greatly appreciated. I have read the reviews and they all mostly seem very good.

However, I want to hear from you the user.

I know alot of people say it chatters loudly then after break in its smoother.

I have the Exedy Twin HD and the pedal effort is higher than stock but it's not unbearable. I've never driven an ACT so I can't compare it....but my leg doesn't get tired from shifting it.

I've had my clutch in for 2000 miles and it still chatters...even throttle off its making noise.

i have the exedy twin plate HD and it is definitly stiffer then stock, but once you get use to get which will be like a week of driving, it will feel like its not that stiff anymore, i personally love the clutch i have no problems what so ever, i took it to the track and maybe got 10 runs in but after it still grabs very well, a big from my experience.

hey fella, how are ya ? still thinkin about the mani if you have it..... as far as the clutch, i had both the act and exedy in my 03... they both were somewhat heavier then stock but the exedy felt better and definitely grabbed like nothin i have ever seen before. i could dump whatever i could at that clutch and it was great, the act, not so much. I think it also comes down to who installs your clutch as to where it engages and disengages so the pedal could be a tad bit easier as it is farther out.... it does chatter rather loud at times but it isnt that bad.... the exedy is well worth the money.

Really? Are you hard on the clutch? Or do you just baby it?

I love the Exedy twins, they are all I have in my car. pedal is stiffer, but bearable. I wouldn't go with anything else. My personal preference.

I have the Cusco twin disc, which is similar, if not identical, to the Exedy. The pedal pressure is hardly noticeable after you've driven it for a day or two. The engagement is more on/off sensitive, but you'll get used to that within a short time after you start driving it. It's really no higher a learning curve than switching from a stock to an ACT or similar.

the Exedy, Cusco and ATS all have very similar pedal effort. Stiffer than stock, but not quite as stiff as the ACT
