Mdesi,

Are you saying you could run 13.5@100 or you ran 13.5@100? The fuel cut on the WRX occurs at 17psi, stock peaks at 12psi. Anything above 17psi on a stock turbo WRX gives you no additional power.

^^^^ I am with you on that one. I had way more mods(before I did the turbokit) and never broke the 100mph barrier. He claims 100mph with much lesser mods... also he claims running at 19psi on a stock WRX turbo? That is alot.. maybe the boost gauge was not very accurate.

The wrx isn't an easy car to drive when you don't have any experience/skill, you have to launch it a certain way and shift properly to get it's full potential. My old wrx with a ecutek flash, PDE uppipe & downpipe(catless), HKS carbon exhaust, Samco turbo inlet pipe, Injen intake, modified stock BPV was a beast. It was running the tiny stock turbo @ 16.8 psi with no tapper on pump 91. My best time was a 13.7 @ 101 at the track in Palmdale, CA witch is a notoriously slow track with it's 3,000+ foot elevation. You have to have the right combination of things to go fast in a rex: mods that work well together, a proper tune, and a great driver behind the wheel.
