When my boost pressure exceeds 17psi the vehicle mis-fires, (sounds like a back fire). Can someone help me solve this problem.

I own a EVo VII JDM spec, greedy boost controller spec II, intercooler, full 3 inch exhaust, stock metal BOV, performance air filter.

I just purchased a wideband sensor/data logger and i also have access to the dealers Scan tool.

Please advise what information ou would require to have this problem diagnosed?

 

More than likely its your plugs if you are still running the stock ones, TT recommended the BPR8ES to me when I has the same problem. Gapped to 22.

 

Please note new spark plugs fixed the problem
