I need more than 255 lph.... SARD 280 lph ?
I need more than 255 lph.... SARD 280 lph ?
Hello guys,
my inj duty cycle is near to 90%... so I think it's better for me to change something in the injection system....
I'd like to avoid for now, to stick in some bigger, 1000cc, injectors...
so I was thinking of raising a bit the base fuel pressure... but according to my calculations, my Walbro 255 lph HP fuel pump won't be enough at 5.5 bar..
does anyone ever tried or hear about the SARD 280 lph ?
TIA, bye...

Sure, could be an idea...
but is it there any value about its flow at 73 and 80 psi ?
And... I'm going to change my walbro 255 hp even because i don't trust it anymore, hearing about its many failures...
and if the BR is still a modified Walbro (so it seems from the image on its site), i don't know if trust in it...

Either dual walbros or Aeromotive 1000. I haven't heard anything about the Sards.
4 x 850 cc/min injectors, Walbro 255 lph fuel pump, SARD adj. FPR.
Base fuel pressure is 3.1 bar.
Afr is around 11.0:1, but @ 1.40 bar and 7600 rpm, I have a inj duty cycle of 84%.
Now I have to increase the boost, but my duty cycle is already too high.
I could increase the base fuel pressure to 3.5 bar, and this will give me 6% more injector flow and will let me decrease the duty cycle, but in this case I'll need a fuel pump with more flow at 5.0 bar (73 psi) and more, than the Walbro 255 lph HP.
I just saw this pump from Power Enterprise...
seems to have incredible characteristics !!

250 lph @ 73 psi and 240 lph @ 80 psi !!!
