DYNO results, can gurus chime in?
I'm a little disappointed with my numbers after getting custom tuned. I just was expecting a little more power from my car. It was HOT 95F + 100% humidity. The tune is a little conservative I know. Still expected at least 280 whp/wtq.
Mods:
DC Sports/APEXI N1 combo Catless TBE
Fighters Garage LICP
Hallman Pro set at 19PSI - 93 Octane
Walbro
I think I covered it. Run files included

Thank you captain odvious.
This thread is pissing me off because i can't think of anything.
By the shape of your power curve it is evident you're tuned, so blaming the tuner is the only thing i can really do. Odviously there isn't a good balance in the tune with AFR's that high, numbers so low, and boost low as well (Note: afr's aren't incredibly high, I would be content with them, but being tuned to the edge like that should produce more power). On 93 octane you should be looking at anywhere from 21-23 psi of boost.
Have you checked for boost leaks?
It also looks like you may be breaking up a bit up top, but you would know better then me. Maybe some new plugs would be of some help?
I'm can't nail anything down though, a guru is definatly in order.

That tune is by no means conservative. It's almost all at 12.0 or above in really hot weather, so what made you say it was conservative? The SAE correction likely would have been 1.03-1.04, which would put you around 270-275whp. Your boost is way too low. You'd have made a good bit more power at 21psi, and the AFRs probably would be in the mid-11s.
Oh, also, your peak WHP is way up at 7k rpm, which is where the HP curve is usually on the downswing. That tells me that you're knocking and pulling timing from 6k-7k, because you should peak at 6500-6800, THEN fall back down to the ~265 mark at 7k. I think the car has a lot more in it right now with a little fuel added and 2 more psi.

This is a custom tune? I think 11.9 is a little hot for the mods you have. Also, Warrtalon hit the nail on the head. You should have more power between 5500-6500 and start to fall near 7k and yours basically does the opposite. Who tuned this car btw?
FWIW, you should be aiming WAY higher then 280 whp/tq.
I thought it looked like he was either detonating, or breaking up from plugs up there.
Get a new tune.
Warr, will you please link me to a thread or something that explains why raising the boost will lower AFR's; this is the second time i have seen you say it, and i'm confused.

when I said conservative I was referring to the boost. 19psi on 93 seemed a little low, but since this is my first tune I realize there's more room. I guess the idea of getting custom tuned and then going somewhere else to get another custom tune makes baby jeebus cry. I know it's not the first time someone's had to retune a tune, but I was hoping for a home run my first at bat.
FWIW, no boost leaks detected before I brought it in. Have 16k on the clock, perhaps I could use new plugs. they're cheap and easy.
BTW, SAE correction was about +5whp/+6wtq

KO, I'm only referring to my own testing on a Dynojet where I was lowering and raising boost to get a better handle on my boost efficiency at altitude. When I'd raise the boost a few psi, my whole AFR readout would drop while keeping the same shape.
5whp/6wtq means it was 1.01 or 1.02, which means it wasn't 95* and 100% humidity.
You don't need another custom tune from another tuner. You just need to get your car running right. Who did the boost leak test...you do it yourself?

Are you talking about the un-smootheness of the graph? That is a characteristic of almost every evo on a dynojet not using a high amount of smoothing.
