I suppose, but that's a fairly weak reason to get the damper.

I just threw the boost gauge in my new 9.. Next I was thinking:

MBC
then Exhaust (buschur w/bullet) TBE with downpipe and all..
Flash (possibly vishnu)

This sound like a good direction, and order to go in?

Why is that weak?? some people dont want unwanted vibrations 24/7....Thats a very good reason. I had polyurethane mounts in my turbo crx, it shook and vibrated the car to death but I didnt mind because it wasnt my dd. I surely wouldnt want that in my car now since I daily drive it everyday, I would freakout after a few days of sitting in traffic. The damper helps keep a driveability factor while providing an alternative to a solid mount, even if it is a band-aid approach....

Its peoples opinion.....nobody has to follow your lead, you havent impressed me yet with your stats enough to really want to do what "you do". Eventhough I do enjoy some of your comments, you do get quite annoying at times

How about an 11 sec. pass already??....Im getting tired of hearing your heroic story on how you hit 12's and what it takes, at this point we all know after hearing you repeat yourself everyday on these boards.

If you get charged for more then 1 hour labor, you would be getting ripped off.

Just jack the car up, remove the giant crossmember and there is the motor mount. If you got the lower splash guard on, buy new clips and cut the old ones all off. It will save u time since they suck.

Oh and i really didnt think the front motor mount replacement was the greatest 50 dollars i have spent like others have said.

Well, Travman, because the Powerflex motor mount does nothing of the sort. It causes minimal vibration at idle, and that's about it. I can't even tell I have any vibrations in my car anymore. Maybe your crx had very stiff bushings that rattled like crazy, but we're talking about 1 bushing that doesn't cause a lot of vibration while being far superior to a damper that costs 3X as much without adding extra weight and without deteriorating over time like the dampers do. Very simple choice...

As for 11s, I moved to 6000' altitude, so it's not happening on the stock turbo without nitrous. That's just the reality of it for me. Maybe with a IX turbo and FMIC, but it's unlikely, because I'm only at 12.30, which happens to be far better than any of the other Evos around here with similar mods. I didn't get to run any of these mods at sea level, because the tracks were closed when I put them on - oh well. Feel free to come up here and try your luck at 8500' density altitude.

Lil evo, how about not exaggerating? I do start my own threads, and I don't answer even 1% of threads made, so not sure why you're freaking out. Who cares if he asked for thoughts? What kind of logic is that? He made a bold claim that includes poor information, so I refuted it. I don't want some unknowing noobs to read it and waste their money. You may not care about other Evo owners, but I do...

who are YOU to tell anyone their opinion is weak?

I'm sick of seeing your childish comments in every thread I open up. Just because someone has a different opinion then you doesn't mean they are wrong and it doesn't mean you are right... get over yourself.

Just get a mount like the Agency Power mount that is a complete unit that just bolts on, no need to remove the stock rubber piece and use a press, this one comes already assembled ready to go.

I agree with the original poster, the two mods will make the car shift as smooth as butter; along with eliminating vibrations.

On a side note..
Great Warrtalon has made yet ANOTHER thread go down the toilet!
If you are going to blatantly disagree as always, for ONCE be nice about it!

We just got a secret shipment of the hard to obtain front lower mounts. They are definately one of the best mods for the Evo. Personally I thought it was all hype until I actually tried one. Wow...

On sale at $47.99 by clicking here!

I got the WORKS 30% ss kit, some ebay base bushings, used Kartboy underhood bushings and the Powerflex for about $200 total... made the car even more awesome!

The powerflex is not that bad and for $50 it really helped with the shifting on the go. The vibrations are more noticeable if you bog the car, especially with the A/C on, but even my fiancee has never complained about it, so I'm all good.

I believe he was just expressing his opinion, just like everyone else does. Everyone needs to chill out. Your reading something on the internet here. He didnt personally offend you. Why get so worked up about it? Read it and if you dont like it, dont respond to it. Simple as that.

Back on topic, has anyone in here actually installed the PowerFlex motor mount? Anyone have any reviews on the install and the result?

I agree on the short shift kit and bushings making the shifting smoother!
