Good clutch

What would be a good clutch to replace the stock? I already have a racing clutch on one of my cars and it's a pain.

Any clutch is "good", it depends on what your doing with your car and your mods. Is it slipping? If your car is stock and its your family car, just get another stock one. If you have basic mods and just want to upgrade it, look at the ACT HDSS or some variant or the Exedy stage 1 like Compjoc said.

And your probably going to get a lot of "search newb" from this question, so be ready.

Anyone recommending clutches without finding out what the goals of the car are and how it is used are just wasting their time.

Thanks guys. The Evo is a heavy car for the size motor. The stock clutch is starting to slip at 20,000 miles. I drive it hard and it is stock.

I have an ACT on the Supra and it has 360 hp. It holds up well. I have over 30,000 miles on that clutch.

The MR2 has a Spec 3. It's kind of a pain but does take a lot of abuse. I am trying to see if I can burn it up so I can get another. The MR2 has only 220 hp.

Twin Exedy. I have no regrets. My grandma can still drive the car without complaints. She would drag race with it but her glasses falls off when she power shifts.

I plan on leaving the car stock until the warranty is over, or, if I can't wait any longer. 350 hp and 320 tq would be nice.

Thanks again.

cusco twin plate. 2 years old about 30k on it. 1st year i raced alot with alotta launches. 2nd year i don't race as much meaning i don't launch anymore. I'm just trying to save the clutch for the 50trim im gonna install soon.

my next clutch will probably be a act organic. i always get paranoid of destroying the twin disc since it cost over 1000 dollars!!! I'm glad it lasted soo long.
