Just wondering, has anybodies EVO had a fan blade snap? Yeah that is what happend to my EVO, one of the blades on the fan located behind the radiator snaped and punctured the radiator and caused a leak. I took it to two different dealerships and they wouldn't cover it (f*cken a**holes!) cause they keep sayin' a rock must of caused the blade to snap. Kind of sucks cause I planned on being modded and racing this weekend, but got to get this fixed first. I just don't see how a rock could have got through to this fan. Well hopefully not too expensive to fix, putting it on a credit card, also if I need to, I can make a claim with the insurance company, but hopefully it won't come to that.

My fan blade broke on my 2005 RS and the dealer just replaced it no problems at all.

A rock would not cause this, complain to MMNA.

 

Are you running without a heat shield?
