Adjust clutch and/or change tranny fluid. If that doesn't work, get the tranny rebuilt.

I wish I could find the answer to, after putting in this ACT clutch I have been locked out of gears every damn time at the track. I cant shift over 7000rpm, and especially 4th gear, it will not go in at all. I tried adjusting it, I changed fluids, I even let my bro drive it to see if he could do anything, but its horrible. Are you still on the stock clutch or a different one?

You need to re adjust your clutch pedal. Go to tech support on the evomoto.com. It will show you step by step on how to do it. This apparently goes hand in hand with a new clutch install...

RazoEvo, have you not seen the many threads talking about that same problem, namely mine that went about 20 pages long? It happens all the time with the ACT, and the only thing you can do to temporarily fix it is to adjust your clutch pedal OUT (pedal moves up), so that the disk fully disengages when shifting. It's happened to many of us - we call it the "dreaded 7k lockout." Go to evomoto.com for the how-to as freedie said, but it does not go hand-in-hand with a clutch install necessarily...it's common only to single disk organics it seems, but especially the ACT.

I have seen the threads, Ive read every single page there was about it hehe. I temp fix it by adjusting the pedal but that only gets so far. It's what I have to live with right now I guess, the ACT I got for a good price, and I bought it even though I knew you all were having problems with it. I took a chance with it and it was a mistake to buy it, but I just have to wait till I can buy something different now.

Yah, it doesn't happen to me ever with my Exedy Stg2 (single disk 4-puck).

How do you like the Exedy all around, track/daily driving? I was considering getting the exact same set up next.

Cost you? You don't pay for it - you just do it. Re-read what we said above - go to Evomoto.com and use their how-to.

Razo, I absolutely love it for all my racing. It holds up to powershifting at the drag strip and 20-25mins of road racing with quick shifts. My ACT was never this good. However, the ACT was perfectly fine for daily driving whereas my Exedy stg2 is a little rough on engagement to 1st and reverse from a start. That's the nature of a 4-puck...

Your problem is your clutch! Don't even look any further. Welcome to the ACT nightmare. Change the clutch and you'll be just fine.

might not be... the lock out is because of the heavy pressure plate on the clutch... shift slower at higher rpms, the car will catch up
