Alright after struggling with the v-band clamps put in a bad position, I got the o2 sensor off and the starting of the threads were gone. I cleaned them up and the bung threads as well. I got the sensor all the way in finally.

Ill report back after I get the car back together if that was the cause or not.

My car just started doing what feels like stumbling at idle, but it actually happens mainly when its hot. Its been hitting the 110's and higher here in vegas, and Im pretty sure it didnt do it before I got my flash from works done. Im wondering if my car is running lean at idle. It seriously feels like its chugging. I got out and popped the hood the other day and you can see the motor moving back and forth pretty bad. Ac off or on, fan off or on same thing. Am I running lean as well? They have me flashed for a works drop in filter, but it got back ordered. Should be here this week, so Im thinking thats probably the problem, but just want to make sure.

I figured out the problem. It was the o2 sensor. I put a good one in that was borrowed and the car ran smooth, At least I found the problem..... on to the next one.

Yeah, one thing that happens every so often is the wires get twisted, and can break... Its likely either the slag scored the O2 sensor and damaged it, or the wiring got funked.. Good to hear you resolved it though.
