..... its because its untuned, now if it still does it after you get it tuned, come back and speak with someone knowledgable.

Installing a turbo or GSC 272's won't give you these problems even untuned at idle.

I'd check for intercooler hoses that are not properly installed. Cams for timing. Might have a damage MAF during the install. ect...

Did you start having problems after the turbo install or cams ?
.

Fitch drives like crap after the turbo installation. I drove his car and the boost gauge is on zero when you drive it .(The boost gauge does work). I was like Damn there is something wrong with it. But his car is flash(before his turbo kit was put on). That might be it???

Did you do the cams the same time you did the turbo install? A larger turbo will not affect your previous tune when idling or off boost. I would go back and check for leaks and make sure everything is plugged back in ie. maf sensor.

Who installed the cams? Maybe they're not lined up properly...re-check cam install...this often affects vacuum reading, idling....giving the symptoms you describe. (that's if the cams were installed at the same time...as the turbo)

Also, makesure turbo is properly bolted to manifold & turbo manifold properly bolted to head.

My friend installed a GT35r and his car idles really low sometimes & stalls...but still boost to 18psi & makes power no problem. But we haven't figure out why it idles so low as yet.

Hope that helps.

It's not the cams unless they're off a tooth (or more). Don't you have huge injectors without being tuned for them? I would think that would cause problems, but not sure if what you're experiencing is normal at all.

No, i installed the cams about a year ago... Beyond Redline in Green Bay Wi.... Did my install.... Nice shop.... Anyways, i just installed the turbo about last wkend.... Basicly doing what my cams did when i was untuned.... But the idle is sorta worse.... Unplugged everything and reinstalled.... Code 003 sometimes comes on.... Esspecially with the loopy idle.... checken for leaks tonite.... installing my alky kit and fuel rail.... injectors later.....

Gotcha. I wouldn't recommend trying to boost then, since you won't have enough fuel supply, but that unfortunately doesn't explain your strange idle behavior. It seems like it would be something vaccuum related like a big IC leak, unplugged MAF, or some disconnected hose that was missed.
