My 06 does the same thing. Random stumble at idle. Threw a code the other day but just reset the ecu, didnt pull the code. I put in some 100 a day or so after that, and it hasnt been idle'ing NEAR as rough. Theres still a very slight vibration, but not like it was doing where it felt like it was going to stall. Wish I could figure out what it is too, my car only has 5000 miles on it.

What do you mean? If someone was smart enough to just get the car scanned there wouldn't even be a problem. There could be a million things wrong, thats why there is an SES light.

Yeah I'm a dumb ***. P0300 TSB's should have fixed this problem. I would ask the dealership for an explanation (and possibly a new ECU).

Dealership don't know nothing. They are hesitant about replacing ecu

So have anyone figured out this mystery yet? Or any other opinions of what could be the culprit

I would talk to a different dealership and have them apply the p0300 fix. Maybe the dealership you are going to is incompetent.

You really need to find out why your car is idling at 100 RPM's. I can almost gaurantee that is your problem.

Alot of evo owner use an after market air filter that is preoiled. This oil gets all over the maf sensor and cause all kinds of problems.
Try spraying the sensor off with MAF cleaner. It can be purchased at Pep boys, Autozone. The can is grey and has red writing. It's specifically for Maf sensors. I keep mine nice and clean. It makes a big difference.

Could also have an O2 going bad. The idle problem sounds like a vacuum leak. Check your intake manifold gasket....with the car running, spray some carb cleaner around the intake manifold, places where it could be leaking. Listen for the idle to change....if it does, pay attention to where your spraying the carb spray.
