Head Work Advice

I'm pulling my head off for a believed blown head gasket. I'm starting to get small traces of oil in my coolant overflow tank and I wanna get it out of the way before it gets worse. While I've got the head off and at the machine shop getting resurfaced, I figured, well hell why not get it ported, and while I'm getting it ported I thought, well hell why not get oversized valves and better valvesprings.

First questions, what do I need to buy parts wise? What do you guys suggest for valves, guides and springs? I'm looking into ferrea for valves, but don't know which ones to buy. As far as spings, I'd like to eventually rev over 9k with a 2.1L. How high can I rev with upgraded valvetrain and stock internals?

Second, how much can I expect to gain from the extra flow, and how much can I expect to pay in labor? I'm thinking the stock heads flow decently, but I'd still like to squeeze all I can out of the motor while I have it apart. Save me from spending the money later when I do get around to building the motor.

Lastly, what head gasket do you guys recommend. Before the next time I have the head off I will possibly be boosting as high as 33, so I'd like it to handle at least that. Stock one still good?

I appreciate the info.

Thanks for the advice. Bump for some more advice on the porting and valves.

K...Why would I do that when there are perfectly good machine shops here? And pretty good porters. Granted they've never done an EVO head before(some actually have) but the shop I'm thinking of sending it to has countless sub 9 second cars.

This isn't a very popular mod I know, but someone has to know about it. I guess I'll have to call slowboy this afternoon.
