Ah i went there yesterday!

Here is a pic of the final product. I wish I had enough self control to wait to have it ceramic coated but I said screw it and put it on.

Its pretty crazy! Vids to come soon.

he made it, then a shop made it fit, so it was most likely a lot less than 250.

Nice idea, although I prefer to run the dump tube back into the exhaust. I am currently having the flanges made by a good buddy of mine who has already generated the cad drawing for the flange. I just received my EVO IX and want to do something different than what everyone else is doing with the e-bay jobber. Again, good to see you coming up with new ideas

That's what I'm wondering, when the subies go with an external dump it's usually because they've gone with a EWG.

If it's just for the purpose of 'look at me' a hand held air horn accomplishes the same thing for 5 bucks.

Guys if you wanted this done youre going to have to get it custom done.. I say this because there is just hardly any room to work with down there on the EVO. On the DSM's the 02 dumps were much more prevelant because there was a lot more space to work with. We had to basically keep going back and route the dump pipe around my lower IC pipe.

That is a problem because not everyone has the same LICP. Some have stock, some aftermarket, and some like me have BR Deluxe IC which has a completley different LICP than most aftermarket. I will try and take a better picture under the car when I jack it up soon, however, its so hot out this week here, I prefer not to be outside or even in my garage.

As for people asking why Im doing this, refer to page1, its not just for noise! Although the noise is sick.

Calm down Im workin on it! Ever since I got the dump on the coldest its been has be 92* at midnight and my friend with the camera hasnt been around.

Believe it or not, even in the extreme heat (95-100*) today the car still felt very fast and I can tell for sure response has DEFINITEY improved! The boost hits HARD!

Videossssss are coming. My buddy took some last night, just gotta get them from him today. I told him I wanted them!

BTW - last night it FINALLY cooled down to a whopping 77-80*. This was the coldest its been since I got the dump.

Response has improved DRAMATICALLY. When I go WOT at 4k, the boost hits much harder and there is a definite torque increase between 4-5k. No doubt! Top end also feels improved however that might just be me getting excited. Its VERY loud and sounds absolutely awesome. I love it!
