Help!

hey guys i just got my 06 evo mr and i have about 700 miles on it and when i go in reverse i hear this clanking underneath my car when the clutch catches and the tranny or something underneath makes a wierd clanking noise like something is broken under there anyone else have this problem or does anyone know what it is ??

I have a IX GSR and I can hear mine shift. When I ask the dealer about it they said it is normal since the shifter is on a slight angle. If you notice your second gear is the lowest gear when you shift. 4th is higher and reverse is also higher. It is not a big difference, but noticeable.
