Its essential you place the clamps in the correct spot, which is right near the beaded section of the piping. That along with tightening them with a rachet. You can get an extra 2-3 revolutions using a rachet compared to using a screwdriver. Ive done this on all my clamps on my car (I use no T-bolts) and Ive never had a pipe blow off.

the one at the throttle body and the other one that kinda the mid point between the front mount and the throttle body
