appears to be a "fullrace" manifold with the Tial wastegate. it is typically used with gt30, 35, 40, 42r type turbos. 50 trim type turbos as well. also appears to be made from stainless steel.

The guy probably welded the stock wastegate closed and used the external gate. A lot of suby guys do this.

 

that is definately not a full-race.

That's for the stock turbo. For some reason or another he put an external on there and I think by looking at the pics that the wastegate is only controlling one of the ports. Definately not full-race or for that matter any american made product.

That is setup for a twin scroll turbo. I think it is for a stock turbo. The maniafolds for the gt42 is twin scroll, but the flange looked different.

 

It's a stock turbo, ebay special manifold w/ a wastegate port coming off of it. That thing is junk since the wastegate is only getting flow from 2 cylinders.

I guess these are the answers i get for posting this late at night! Anyone with some knowledge care to comment? I know who makes this, I know What its made out of. To me it looks like a mitsu flange, But im not too sure about flanges, just looking for some input

 

Ok, let me put it to you this way, it is for a stock evo turbocharger, it will only fit a turbo off of an evolution IV-IX, no other mitsu turbochargers.

 

ok Riddle me this, Why the hell would you put wastegate on a TD05 housing, when all TD05 turbos that mitsu makes, or assumingthat your going for a better turbo, Would use an INTERNAL wastegate,


This flange MIGHT be a old skool t3s housing thats why im confused, that flange is a 44mm wastegate, from tial! What are you guys talking about
