Do EVO IX's regulate/stabilise oil pressure in head?

I installed my oil pressure gauge on the side of the head as suggested in this thread: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=108819

However, the gauge does not behave as expected. Instead, my readings to not fluctuate like other cars I have had (such as increase in pressure as rpm's & WOT are increased).

My Evo 9 readings are as follows:
- After starting the car (cold), it will read about 60 psi for 2 mins
- It drops down to about 25-30ish psi in the next 5 mins or so and remains constant at that level no matter what kind of rpm or throttle position is used.
- At idle, it drops to about 0-5psi.
- Prolonged periods (10-15mins or more) of constant high rpm at WOT, pressure makes its way from the constant 25psi reading to about that of idle (I'm guessing the increased oil temps get the oil really thin)

There is nothing wrong with the car and the sender/gauge appears to function properly.

Does the 9 have some restrictions or valves up there that maintain the pressure at a constant levels? Any thoughts on this?
