I also forgot to mention. I'm kind of on a limited budget right now, I have right around $1500 to spend.

-Drop in filter
-Manual boost controller
-Turboback exhaust w/ Hi flo cat
-10.5 hotside and o2 housing
-lower intercooler pipe
-cams (I recommend 272's)
This comes out to about $1500 if you go the cheapest way and will be a soild set up. But you're going to need more money for a flash. Dynoflash mail-in's are only $199 if your looking for the best bang for the buck, but a custom tune on a dyno is always a better option. Cheapest custom tune in your area is around $400-$500. Have fun!

Come on...

Both shops are very good....folks that dismiss Vishnu because of the facility are ignorant (it is a very nice shop)....Both Vishnu and BR have very good reputations and you can't go wrong with either....

Parts it doesn't matter as much. I have a Buschur part on my car, but a Vishnu tune. If you live near Vishnu, certainly get your tune done their, without question. If you lived near AMS, I'd say get your tune done there (same with Buschur). If there's a good tuner next door, always go with them IMHO.

Take it slow. Buy a used XEDE and whatever TBE you want. Don't forget the tune will cost you money.

used XEDE: 600
used TBE: 400-600
tune: 250 or so.

Vishnu hardware is good, but expensive. I'd probably go with a Buschur exhaust and a Vishnu tune if I was in your shoes.

I would also recommend Vishnu. I have the Xede and a Vishnu tune and they are working great. You can always buy your upgrades from whoever you want and have Vishnu tune it. I'm also a believer that having someone relatively local in case you need their help.

i've seen more track/dyno terrors coming from the buschur camp than vishnu and dave's been playing with 4G63's since before i could drive, so i don't think you could go wrong. no disrespect to vishnu intended, i'm sure they're good too, this is just my opinion.

As a couple of posters have mentioned GO WITH THE SHOP CLOSEST TO YOU. Create your own exhaust/dp combo. Avoid the slip fit exhaust since they leak and avoid the dp that does not use the stock donut and stock sprung bolts. If you want a quiet exhaust then get one that has a resonator in the mid pipe.

As for the tune, go with Vishnu since he know how to tune on crappy CA gas. Not everyone knows how to tune on 91 pisstane.

i have directly compared vishnu's and Al/buschur's flashes. i must say vishnu's flashes are very VERY weak. he still retards timing for some reason, and timing peaked 7 degrees at the 260 load.
however, since you live in cali, your best bet might be vinshu since he can optimize a flash for use with 91 octane.

I do not understand what you mean by weak? Does the flash not produce power like Al's flash? Did you compare the power output of each? No flame, just trying to understand what you mean.
