I just want to know if the HKS 272s are far less efficient then any set of Jun cams.

Depends on what turbo you are running.

HKS seem to be the favorite. Jun makes great cams but just yesterday I saw a Jun cam break in half after 10 seconds of running in a skyline for no reason other than it was poorly made. Unfortunatly we now have to wait 12 weeks for a replacement from jun. They make all the cams together so i could only imagine it was a bad group of cams. Go with the set up that better meets your car needs; spool/top end, big/small turbo, and if you get head work done. All depends once you decide pm me ill get you a good price on a set of cams. Good Luck!!!

Jun cams are high lift in relation to the HKS cams. You will need to upgrade your valvetrain to run them. Performance wise, the Juns will make more power at the same duration because of the higher lift and increased ramp rate. To run the JUN's you will most likely need some form of stand alone ecu. I havent paid enough attention lately to see if the reflashes are able to handle them or the Revolvers for that matter. Do a search for more info.
