fuel starvation prevention

I was watching a tuning video and the shop's car had a smaller pressurized tank in the trunk (looks a little bigger than a catch can). It supplies a constant fuel supply when the car is under hard cornering while low on fuel.

Does anyone know what it's called and where it can be ordered? A friend needs one for off road use

be wary, surge tank kits that use stainless braided lines will exude gasoline vapors. they don't leak a drop but the vapors will kill you or give you cancer... which kills you.

if you're vin diesel, you've got gasoline running through your veins... so breathing a little vapor shouldn't be too bad...

thanks for the replies.... What is the extent of the installation? It seems pretty simple but im not sure whether you can use it with a stock fuel tank or fuel cell. (evodave says his fuel sys. is custom)

if you ahve a fuel cell you don't need a surge tank. the cell ensures (at least it should) that you will not start fuel.

a surge tank is for running the stock tank. you have to mount it near the tank, run lines in the tank out hte tank and back in the tank. with some pumps inbetween.

the system can be installed easier then a fuel cell setup for sure.
