Setup has many restrictions. 7.7/1 is too low. Takes too much boost to make power. Better to raise the compression to at least 8.5. makes the sytem much more efficient. The cyclone intake is the JDM intake manifold that has 8 runners. Second set of runners are controller with flappers. Stock evo 8 mani flows more. 93/alky has its limits. c16 numbers would be way more impressive. But this is a daily driven car. I feel c16 is pointless to run unless you are rich and can afford to run it all the time. The muffler is side in side out magnaflow. The pulses hit the perforations at an angle. Makes a nice quiet muffler, but I am sure its leaving a few ponies on the table at this level.
The cft dyno reads like a dynojet as far as I have seen. 700whp evos have gone 10.4. But add c16, laggy sheetmetal intake, 8.5 compression, straight through muffler. And I am sure another 60-100whp would be present.
Shorcomings aside , the powerband is strong for 3000rpm and spool is silly fast given such a light car. Makes a very impressive showing on the street.
