Stroker/35R cam choice?

After a 2 year journey of maxing the stock turbo on my O3 (max being a relative term)...I'm going nuts on a 35R/stroker build. Don't care about the peaky high rev numbers game, just want a good streetable curve with decent spool. I'm willing to pay the tradeoff to go 35R over smaller turbos though. And I don't care about a smooth idle as long as it doesn't stall. The car is in pieces at TorqueFreaks, OR so I'm committed now! Just need advice as I finalize the scheme.

2.4 Brian Crower Pro kit
+1mm valves, springs/ti retainers
35R .63a/r surge ported
1000cc/walbro/dli II/bp8es (.028)
AEM EMS speed dens
SMC Alky (m15/100%?) +92oct
2.5"IC pipe/3"exhaust
TRE tranny/tcase

First thought I would run HKS 280's (+1/0). Then wanted Revolvers. Couldn't find any and decided on JUN 272's.

Any input on these choices? Anyone running JUNs any way but 0/0? Also, is 4" intake a worthwhile upgrade with this setup? My IC pipes are 2.5" and exhaust is 3" all the way.

Thanks for the advice!

Run the HKS 280's at ( +2,-1) and you will get full boost at just below 4000 rpm with the .63 housing. That will make an awesome street car with super quick spool up and mega torque. JUN's are great too...

i have heard that revolvers are good but i know that jun 272s are proven to give results but you will have to upgrade the springs and retainers

same with the revolvers.

both require valve springs and retainer upgrades, as well as some sort of engine management system to tune the idle down to a bareable level.

good luck!

Revolvers and Jun are great one has higher lift the other slightly more duration. Revolver's are on backorder, so JUN will have to be the one. Both will give faster spool and more TQ/HP than any HKS grind.

I had the HKS 272's and now I am running the Jun 272's. I was going for the revolvers but they have been out of stock for a LONG time. That's why I chose the JUN's.
