i dont think you know what supras are capable of doing, specially if its got a TH400

i bet that supra will have a GT47-88 w/ a massive amount of nitrous and a TH400, and if thats the case, as much as i love evo's i'd have to say the supra will own, unless RnR can magically pull of a low 8, which would be sweet, there are TONS of supras in the mid to low 8's some even w/ smaller turbos then the 47-88...kean from boost logic is running 7.8x's at over 180mph!!! w/ the setup i listed above...

i'm not trying to take anything away from RnR, i think what they're doing is f'in sweet, but to those of you thinking that it will own the supra, i'm saying dont go thinking its in the bag yet, as supra's are monsters if done right...

??? That's just not true. I personally know someone who won a car on the show and they aren't the type who would lie about it.

I personally don't see the point of building a beast of a car for this show. It's as much about longevity and deception as anything. If I were building an Evo for the show, I'd limit my mods to things that you can't see and then claim to be near stock. You know...stroker bottom end, 264 cams, stock airbox, C16 in the tank, etc. And then play games with the tune and boost levels so at first you look pretty stock (low 13s) and then you progressively up the boost and timing so that you take the win with an 11 second pass.

 

Race is still going on in Dallas, Texas. They postponed our race because both cars needed more time. That means we have even more time to dial in our car and get really serious. We have a ton of surprises in store for whoever we race against.

 

Both cars aren't ready? damn, they won't even tell you who you racing?

Watch it be some suited up Racecar w/ a big-block and 2 stages of Nitrous.

The car in my sig is my daily driver. We own 4 EVO's not including the one we are using for PINKS. So our competition has no idea what we are bringing for sure.

 

A Chevy Aveo with a destroked to 2.1 4G64 engine swap running a GT45 to 11k rpms with 60 psi and a 300-shot nitrous system? You should do that.
