I will literally throw up if it's an evo vs. sti race. Since the show is mainly american muscle and redneck boys racing for each other's cars, I think it would be really interesting to throw in some real japanese muscle. "IF" the evo wins then you will see an endless amount of post on all the american car forums saving it was an unfair race and that he was spraying. It very funny because an evo owner will be the first to admit a loss to a ws6 or vette because of the raw power they have. Most american owners will blame everything but there car or themselves for why they lost the race and then they'll add the line "Atleast my car has much more potential and is better looking"

^^^^^ This comment kills me. Do you really think they are going to roll out there with a drag EVO and have a POS $200 AVC-R controlling boost? Have you even ever heard of a standalone ie AEM EMS, Autronic, or Motec? Dude, no offense but that's seriously the dumbest thing ive ever read on here.

Yea most people use The innovative EBC setup on drag cars with the multi stage boost control. The AVC-R IMO is a piece of crap. totally unreliable and problem riddled. (That was a few years ago. Haven't heard much since. Maybe they made em better)

Chill out dude. The AVC-R is considered a top-level boost controller to the average Joe. He was just saying he hopes they "bring it." I don't see why you have to go ripping on someone because they thought a top-level street boost controller would be good for a drag car...

Thats exactly what I was thinking when reading this whole thread, you can;t have better driver at the wheel for the race.
