I have the DVR set to record all the episodes. For a low budget show I think they do a pretty good job. It's all about negotiations. Any POS can win provided they have a good negotiator. I get tired of watching five guys from each side yell at each other because it's incoherent gibberish and gets nothing accomplished. I think it's great TV when everyone keeps their cool and there is only one guy from each side doing the talking.
I've been waiting a while to see someone with a real turbo set up and EBC race. I hope you're using an AVC-R or something that gives an instant boost feature.
I also like the prospect of being able to start with low psi and adding more later in the competition. Seems like you could keep the races close enough so that the other racer can't get away with asking for 10 lengths. Those NOS racers either have the power or don't and there's nothing they can do when the gas is turned off.
One suggestion to improve the show for me would be to show the folks at home the top speed or ET or something. The racers wouldn't know this info, but I would certainly be more interested. It's kind of like watching poker on TV - the viewer knows what everyone has! It would be boring to watch on TV if you didn't know when someone was bluffing or making a rigtheous call.
Good luck RnR. I'm looking forward to reading all about your win!

I did see one episode where both teams went halves on a decent car and the winner took it home. That's what I would want to do instead of putting a $60K Evo on the line if it was my shop. It would be cool like if two Evo shops put up money on a new Evo IX or something and the winner took it home.

dbdude, I wish I could give you all the info. I have to keep my lips sealed on the public forum until after the race. Trust me we won't let the EVO community down by bringing some slow car or something that is not going to finish.
