running higher boost on 100+ octane

Just found a place literally right next door to me that sells 100 octane. Someone on the forum said that you simply need to 'turn the boost up' which doesnt seem right at all. Id like to get a clear answer. Seems that if you just turn the boost up while not adjusting air/fuel youll ultimately run lean and burn a hole in something. In any case, id like to try and tune air/fuel/boost using the safc and mbc, any tips or tricks here?

You can just turn up the boost on 100oct and make great power. You don't randomly run lean, and even if you did, higher octane can run much leaner without knock - that's the whole point. However, if you already have an SAFC, you can also retune for the race gas in addition to the extra boost. You're just going to be pulling out fuel (leaning it out) anyway, so there's no worry of being lean without the retune.

I used to do this all the time when going to the track when I just used the SAFC and then again later when I had a base flash for 93oct and used the SAFC only for race gas tuning. It's a very simple thing.
