something happended today!!

so i was beating on the ol evo a lil today then suddenly the car flutter a lil, soon after that it would not make nething more than 15psi of boost
could it be the waste gate? wouldnt it build tons of boost if the waste gate come undone from the 02 housing?(the flapper would stay shut right?) i looked all over could not find a popped off line or nething
i dont know
help me figure this out
the car runs fine
it jus will not build more than 15psi

sounds like you have bov that is leaking... Or another type of boost leak.

I had my BOV leak and it did the same thing....I thought it was a intercooler pipe at first too and then saw that the hose had popped off of the bov

if it was the bov i dont think it would build any boost
it builds a solid 15psi all the way to redline

Yes the forge RS will hold as much as the SSQV.

I would not recommend the SSQV for your car. Please get a recirculating valve or one that recirculates most of the air back into the intake track. It will save you a ton of headachs in the long run.

JDM mr / Evo IX DV, trust me you don't want an adjustable type BOV like the Forge RS.

Wtf, App420? The Forge RS does not "leak." Not sure what you're talking about, and I didn't sell anything. I highly recommend it, because it's one of the best valves and will hold all the boost he wants. It's been tested up to 38psi, so unless he plans to run more than that, it will work perfectly. I also was not the only one to suggest it. Might want to check yourself.

KOevo, nothing wrong with having an adjustable one. It allows more flexibility for daily driving vs racing, and it holds more than the JDM MR. I am a big fan of the JDM MR, but notice he said he wants one that holds a LOT of boost.
