FRom 264i to 272i...

Hello.

At last I changed my JUN cams from 264-264 110i-113e to 272i-264e 109i-112e.

I tried it now today for the first time.

First impression at 18 psi max:
no spool up or low to mid acceleration differences
MORE power from 6500 and up, when before, after 6500 the power was constant
Idle is a bit worse
I didn't have to retard timing

And:

I had to enrichen it a bit. With the same fuel map I get around 12.2:1, when before I was around 11.4:1
I lost 50 deg. C of EGT !
Now I am around 800 deg. C, when before I was around 850 deg. C !
And don't ask me why ! Probably the bigger overlap makes some fresh mixture to enter the exhaust system ?

Just a question... do you think that 780/800 deg C. at WOT at 18 psi ( for now ) could indicate a too advanced ignition timing ?
Better to stay always over 800 deg. C. ?

Thank you.
