What would net me more performance gains?

A test pipe something like the Ultimate Racing TP or an LICP like Horsepower freaks or Buschur?

Im lost, and how loud does a TP usually make a turbo back exhaust?

As far as a dyno goes, the TP will net the most gains (almost 10 whp not tuned, shown by recent SBR findings), but as far as feel, and the butt dyno is concerned, the LICP will give the most gains. It's a stretch to say you gained WHP based off a dyno when testing the licp, they are just negligable.

I think you're gonna get more gain off the Test pipe, on that fact that its taking one of the biggest restrictions out of the flow path of your vehicle.

I'd go for the test pipe. The noise will increas a little, but if your just putting the test pipe on your stock DP, and Cat back, then the sound gain will be minimal. may here a bit more of the turbo spooling of your outside of the vehicle.

The lower IC pipe will give you a slight gain, but i think it helps more with response, as the stock IC hoses can expannd under boost.

just my .02

A test pipe will yield more performance gains, and yes, it will typically make your exhaust louder depending on your catback. I'm catless with a Greddy Evo2 exhaust and its still quiet.

Definitely the test pipe. Sure the LICP will help spool up and getting the air into the motor but you'll be stuck with the extra back pressure still from the cat. Like people say, engines are comparable to pumps. It injests air, makes power through combustion, and then exhales. Having the last portion of that cycle at a disadvantage does you no good because you want the gases out as fast and easy as possible.
