I looked on a mitsu parts webpage but it doesnt show a close up of the coolant temp sensor which is what i believe broke ....

What happen was the guy that was helping me with my car pryed on the tranny to pull it out some and accidently snaped the coolant temp sensor "black connector on the thermostat housing with a piece that went into a bolt off" the connector is fine but the bolt has a hole in it and the spring shot out somewhere.... anyone have any idea what part im going to have to replace to get this fixed?

The only parts i can find that could be it is temp sensor, or sending unit water temp.
