Radiator Fan Does Not Work. HELP!

Issue: My radiator fan does not turn on idle or when its hot.

Facts

1. I have no AC. no AC fan.
2. Car has 120k miles
3. I have tested the fan with a battery. Works.
4. I have turned on the car and bypassed the fan controller module. (COnnector going into the module connected to connector going into fan). fan turns on.
5. Car never really hit the hot section of coolant temp gauge in dash. It did go up during a track day.

What else should i check?

Bad coolant temp sensor? how do i test that?
Bad thermostat?
Which relay should i check? and where?

Thank you!!!

are you talking about the fan control module or the relay under the hood?

if the fan doesnt work when its connected to the fan control module and works with direct power i would say its the fan control module. this also happened to a friend of mine, it could also be the thermostat sensor.

fan control module would probably be culprit imo.

I just had one go bad last week dont kno what year your car is but the 03 have been none to go bad they are like $70 from mistubishiparts.net if the fan does not come on when plugged in then more then likely thats what it is.

evo 8 part#1355a126
evo 9 part#1355a052

i dont believe there is any diffrence between the 8 & 9
