04 Evo rs 10.5 hotside yes or no

Okay so i've searched and came up with nothing so i'm asking here. Does anyone know if the 04 rs came with the 10.5" hotside stock. I don't think it did but i've had 3 different people tell that it did. I've also been told that only the later built 04's came with it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Tripp

The 10.5 hotside was an addition for MY05.

Are you talking about an '05 model that arrived at a dealership in late '04?

Anything made after 8/04 is considered and 05'. Maybe that's what he means? Anyone make the switch to a 10.5 from a 9.8?

I've heard the same thing. The last 2 months that the '04's were produced were w/ the 10.5 hotside. Not an '05 model sold in '04.

the late model 04's have them. You can look at the number on the hotside to tell it's size.

i did, it feels a little laggy, but topend is much better. Also no it's not an 05 evo. I used to be a Mits saleman. The factory paper say 04. But when the mechanic was doing the PDI i look and yes it haves 10.5T.

no to bash mits salesman but one told me i would get 50hp by taking the sun roof out. also told me the red top on the motor is what gives the evo an advantage over the STi.

Look at the sticker on the inside of the driver's side door. It has your build date on there. I have heard that '04s with a June or later build date have the 10.5 housings.
