Max boost on IX without tuning
Hi,
What is the max boost you should run on an IX with walbro pump, 3" TBE and MBC?
Where is the fuel cut? I was thinking of running 21-22 psi, is anyone running this boost on an IX with these mods?

When I did those mods the car spiked at 21-22psi but I wouldn't run the car like that for too long though.
Check evo9grl page, we posted some pictures of the boost gauge before and after those mods on the Evo 9.

I was running 22PSI on 91 octane for a little while and had no issues. Was expecting to get tuned soon, so I didn't turn it down, but now that I have to wait another week, I turned it down to 20PSI. So it's up to you, I had no issues running 22PSI, but not running that high anymore, not wanting to take any chances since I will be tuned in a week.
