im wondering what is the max boost u run in fifth gear with the fp red on 93 pump gas only?

lol i think's he's referring to how a lot of other cheaper cars just boost themselves without doing anything to the tranny...so they dont boost hardly in fifth or at all since the trans will be toast then.....not the same way with evos man. you only have to worry more about the motor, besides that the boost would stay the same.

Is your Evo an VIII or a IX? Are you running the above boost level on 93 octane R+M/2?

No on my car the boost increases slightly if you go into a higher gear. Will a gm boost soleniod keep my boost the same in every gear?

I dont want to cause my motor to detonate. Or melt a piston. So i dont even use fith gear to race, only to cruise.

Are you worried about your boost being too high in 5th for just normal cruising driving, not racing?
