id love to hear all your input thanks, Scott

Depending on your goals, your setup may be wayy overkill...The TWIN carbon is used by just about everyone who wants to make heavy power and have a streetable car, I haven't seen many who want to *****-out rock the triple (especially as a daily driver)...Not to say that the twin is stronger, it's just VERY strong and much more street-friendly...The next, and probably the biggest problem with your setup is tuning...For me, I wouldn't go anywhere near a large turbo kit and injectors without a proper standalone ECU, but that is not to say that there hasn't been successful results with reflashes (which at this point is really about your only option, considering you hava a IX)...I believe with the other mods you have listed, swapping the 35R for a 20g conversion to your factory turbo you could yeild mid-low 11's (presuming you are a descent driver)...If that isn't quick enough, my advice would be to wait along until some other dude with a IX wants to gineau pig his car out.
Perhaps an alternate path, for a ton of power and street-friendliness, would be to go with something like exhaust manifold/o2 housing/turboback/intake/intercooler piping/injectors/20g conversion/manual boost controller/methanol or alcohol injection...I would also reccomend staying away from cams, or at least until they have been proven to yeild significant power gains and become tuning friendly (GSC has a set coming out that many think will be promising, but I would just wait until everyone comes out with them so you can have your pick)...
The biggest question is what are your goals?...Do you plan to make this car into a drag racing superstar, a road racing beast, or an auto-x junkie?...Power, especially like the kind you will find out of a 35R, should only be accompanied with proper suspension and brakes...The cars suspension geometry and power-delivery (stock) is almost a perfect balance...Thus, the minute you change one thing, you have to compenate for the other...If you plan on purely drag racing, truthfully there are much better platforms...For me, the evolution is more about being a well-rounded rally car that can handle just about any form of racing you want to get involved with (shy of drifting, if you want to refer to that as racing)...Presuming you do wish to use this car for strictly drag racing, there have been many who have found great results, but you should just be careful about it...Items such as transmission and transfer cases might want to modified by well-known companies like Sherphard racing...Make sure you have adequate brakes and stiffer suspension for your power-level...And lastly, the tuning (which once again is still an issue when you talk about large turbo kits on IXs)

By the way, nice selection of other rides, if I had that lineup I would make this my true daily driver with the mods I listed above (second paragraph) and maybe an Exedy twin...If you use the VIII as your track star, then you shouldn't have a need to make build this one up to match...I wouldn't want to rock a Skyline around town all day, so maybe leaving it streetable is your best option...Need any more conservative advice, let me know.
thanks for the input guys the only reason i am considering a 35R is because i abpsolutely love this turbo on an evo when i had this kit on my VIII it was a blast to drive and i felt that it was very streetable(even the triple plate clutch) and the other reason i am considering this is because i have everything already minus the meth kit. so from being on these forums for quite sometime now i have noticed that there is a couple people on here running a 35R,stock internals, and just an ecu flash and as for the triple carbon being overkill i agree that the triple carbon is a very heavy duty high performance clutch and the twin disk would be much more streetable but i have a triple carbon and i don't want to go buy parts for this car i just want to use the parts that i have laying around. and my goal for this car is to either keep it bone stock and just get an mbc and a flash or have a daily driver / occasional i mean a rarely driven drag car and just all around 500whp fun car to drive around this small town i live in. and i havent heard of any problems reflashing the stock ECU for this set up but maybe im just missing these threads that contain this topic. has there been problems running a 35R with 1000cc injectors and a 35R on a stock internaled evo?
